Savour on this delicious crispy fried chicken wings which can be found in a small little coffee shop  around the commonwealth food centre area where many HDB are surrounded. The Chickens wings are TO DIE FOR as they are usually fried in batches to maintain the crispiness and it being "hot" consistency when customer order them. The Chicken wing is fried to perfection being crispy, moist and succulent on the inside making it very addictive. Each chicken wing cost about S$1.20 and you can even have other stuffs like fried been hoon and also other dishes that they offer to as side dishes! 

Overall, the place seem rundown but serves up fried chicken wings which are a killer to fried chicken lovers and the price is reasonable! 

Famous Beach Road Prawn Noodles

Prawn Noodles

This Particular Prawn noodle stall was originally from Beach Road area and is very famous for many years. Their Signature dish is obviously their prawn noodles and you can order them either dry or in their lovely soup! They come in a variety of sizes and combination either just prawns or with spare ribs etc.

The one that i order as shown above had an addition of pig's tail. The prawn was cooked to perfection as it was not too rubbery and the pig's tail was soft and tender as well. The ingredients are quite generous and the the one ingredients that made the whole dish shine was the lovely fried shallots as the garnish and some pieces of PORK LARD which you don't find hawkers use these days as it can be bad  for health! Not forgetting that bowl of soup that comes with it when you are eating the dry version of  the prawn noodles. You could really taste the essence of the prawn being cooked out in the that bowl of lovely goodness and the spices used in the soup made it flavoursome and rich in once mouth! 

Overall, this prawn noodle is by far one of the BEST I ever had and I am definitely coming back for it!
